'Autotask is vital to our success,' says Dynamic Business Technologies

Autotask is key to the success of managed services provider, Dynamic Business Technologies. The company's managing director, Nathan Franks, said Autotask has been very attentive as an individual company and has been crucial to Dynamic Business Technologies' success.

"If we lose some of our other systems we can continue operating but if we lose Autotask, we lose our ability to do or manage anything. With Autotask, the information flows to where it needs to, to make change for us. It is one of the best vendors we work with," Franks mentioned.

Dynamic Business Technologies has been a partner of Autotask since January 2007 and the company predominantly offers its clientele managed services, in addition to project management, project delivery, and application development.

Franks mentioned that Autotask's recent launch of remote monitoring and management platform, Autotask Endpoint Manager (AEM), has enabled users with a Cloud-based single unified platform where MSPs can have greater visibility and control of all customer endpoints over any network across Android, Linux, iOS, OSX and Windows operating systems.

"It provides Dynamic Business Technologies and ultimately our customers a more powerful tool to manage and support networked devices, servers and smartphones remotely," he added.

The company's in the midst of revisiting is marketing and sales strategies and is looking to grow organically and via acquisition.

"We're going to continue pushing that growth aspect and in supporting that growth, Autotask gives us more vision in terms of where we are in our sales pipeline and it has a lot of financial information that supports our decision making."

He also said the recent Autotask Community Live! event was an opportunity for the company to share ideas and success stories with some of Autotask's global partners.

"For me, a lot of the value came from outside the sessions. It comes from sitting down with and talking to other business owners who have been in there and done that. I might have a specific problem around HR or marketing so having businesses there that have been through similar struggles gives us the ability to get advise from them and take the relevant steps in our company.

"We're just starting down a path of marketing and moving on with new sales engines so there were a number of people that I met who have stepped up their marketing efforts within their business and understanding what they've done and how they've done has helped us as we're looking to change some of our sales processes," he added.
