SimCity 2000 is, as you might guess, a city-builder with isometric 2D graphics, originally released in 1995. If you were disappointed in last year's SimCity reboot, it's probably because you have fond memories of playing this game back in the day. Or last year, as the case may be. I keep SimCity 2000 installed on my machine at all times, just in case I want to build a city for an hour or two and then send a firestorm through it.
Also, the description on Origin's product page says, "If this game were any more realistic, it'd be illegal to turn it off!" which is pretty amazing.
There's no telling how long the deal will last, though previous On the House promotions have seemed to go for about a month or so. Regardless, I'd jump on it as soon as possible just in case. You wouldn't want to miss being the Mayor of Buttsville.
