Intel Security A/NZ channel sales director, Luke Power, told ARN the kit includes information for the channel on how to get started with Microsoft Office 365, in addition to a conversation guide, sales essentials presentation for partners, a co-branded email template, a phishing quiz how to guide, a phishing tool, battlecard, and additional materials such as solution briefs and whitepapers.

"Together with McAfee Email Protection, Office 365 email users can gain up to 12 times faster protection, strong spam catch rates, plus failover email service to ensure users will not experience disruption and continue to have access to their email in the event of Office 365 infrastructure or other hosted mailbox outage," he said.
According to Power, Intel Security launched this kit as there's a growing number of businesses adopting Cloud-based office solutions like Microsoft's Office 365, but security isn't always offered in transitioning to Cloud-based solutions.
"Targeted phishing attacks require advanced protection and our email protection reduces the risk of zero-hour malware attacks and promotes safe browsing with ongoing reinforcement of anti-phishing education."
He added that transitioning to Office 365 can take time and this kit enables customers with the flexibility to transition on their own schedule while maintaining advanced email security.
"The Email Phishing Tool, offered as part of the kit, also allows our partners to assess their customers' knowledge and ability to identify phishing attacks, and provides custom recommendations based on the results.

"The kit not only adds more resources to our channel business but also adds ways for our partners and customers to create more value," Power indicated.
He also said that as technology advances and more threats are identified, Intel Security aims to continuously arm its customers and partners with the most advanced security software to ensure they can protect their data at all costs.
"The adoption rate of Cloud-based office solutions will continue to grow because of the enriched productivity, collaboration and email services offered. However, businesses need to have the right tools in place to safeguard their data, software and infrastructure from unapproved applications and cyber threats," he said.
Power added that resellers interested in the Microsoft Office 365 Channel Kit will need to get in contact with their preferred distributor or Intel Security channel account manager.
