It's no Photokina, but CP+ is a still a good venue to check out the latest in cameras and photography gear. The standouts this year were Canon's EOS 5DS digital SLR, with its groundbreaking 50-megapixel sensor; Nikon's D810A, a digital SLR designed to capture eye-popping views of space; and added vanity functions to lower-priced cameras such as compact digital cameras.
Casio's Exilim ZR1600, for instance, is an 18x-zoom lens compact camera for people who like to take photos of themselves. It has a rotating LCD screen for selfies, a Makeup Mode for adjusting skin tone and erasing blemishes and Wi-Fi for automatic image transmission to smartphones. Panasonic's Lumix GF goes a step further, with a Beauty Mode that can make your face look slimmer
