Combining hardware and software as a service (SaaS), Prysm Enterprise allows businesses and their employees to collaborate in real time across locations and screens ranging in size from mobile devices to large-scale video walls.
The platform works by creating cloud-based visual workspaces that combine applications, content, video conferencing and the Web. Collaborators can use those workspaces to create, edit, share and store their work, with the ability to re-access the saved workspaces later from any location via the cloud.
Included in the new offering are Prysm Cloud, the company's application suite and Prysm Mobile, which provides browser access for any mobile device. On the hardware side, Prysm Displays come in standard sizes of 65, 85, 98, 117 and 190 inches as well as custom sizes to fit any meeting room.
The Prysm Application Suite offers the ability to display, resize, position and annotate streaming video, Web apps, documents, presentations, images and other inputs from laptops and mobile devices. Users can incorporate any Web-based application or content, including word-processing documents, spreadsheets and presentations from Microsoft Office or other productivity suites. Uploaded content is available for collaboration by up to 10 Prysm systems.
Prysm also integrates with any third-party video system or other conferencing system; native integration with Skype for Business is built in.
Prysm Enterprise is available now; Prysm Mobile will be available in the second quarter. A new 98-inch LCD display will begin shipping this spring.
