Love will report directly to Kevin DeNuccio, president and chief executive officer. As CMO, she will be tasked with combining strategic marketing with brand development and demand generation to elevate market awareness and executive familiarity for Violin.
She is responsible for overseeing worldwide marketing strategy and activities. DeNuccio said Love's proven experience driving compelling marketing strategies, partnerships and innovative programs for meaningful B2B and B2C brands was an invaluable addition to the team and growth opportunity.
"The expertise and insight she brings will help to expand our global marketing reach and further strengthen Violin's leadership position in the IT and flash storage market," he said. Love said it was a marketer's dream to have a significant technology advantage and a fundamental market shift and disruption occurring at the same time.

Before joining Violin Memory, Amy served as a partner for BizEthos, a consulting firm for Silicon Valley start-ups. Previously, she served as vice president of global brand and demand generation, acting CMO and vice president of brand and communications at NetApp.
