Hadoop successor sparks a data analysis evolution
09.12.2014
The story, "Hadoop successor sparks a data analysis evolution," posted Friday, contains an incorrect title for one of the interviewees. The second sentence of the article should read:
"Next year, you will see a lot of [Hadoop] use cases that transcend Hadoop," said Ali Ghodsi, head of product management and engineering for Databricks, a company formed by a number of the creators of Spark that offers a hosted Spark service, as well as technical support for software distributors selling Spark packages.
The copy on the wire has been changed.
