MetaPack appoints CIO David Jack from Hyperion Insurance
In his new role David Jack will be responsible for overseeing all software engineering and will report directly to Patrick Wall, CEO and founder of MetaPack Group, the company said.

Former CIO at thetrainline.com, Jack was recognised in the top three of the 2015 CIO 100 and described by the judging panel as a leader who can explain to the CEO what technology can enable the business to do, a bold risk taker who gets things done, as someone who has a single view of the customer.
Jack spoke to CIO UK recently and described his role as ensuring Hyperion is a disruptive force in its market as financial services increasingly faces challenger brands and in the case of banking, entirely new models.
