Microsoft provides privacy dashboard ahead of Windows 10 launch
05.06.2015
Due to a reporting error, the story "Microsoft provides privacy dashboard ahead of Windows 10 launch," posted Thursday, misspelled the name of Microsoft's Deputy General Counsel. The correct spelling is Horacio Gutierrez.
The second paragraph has been corrected on the wire and now reads as follows:
Horacio Gutierrez, Microsoft's deputy general counsel, wrote in a blog post that the changes were aimed at creating "straightforward terms and policies that people can easily understand." The new Microsoft Services Agreement, which goes into effect on August 1, covers most of the company's consumer services, including Bing, Cortana, Outlook.com and Xbox Live.
