Rob Mesaros to lead HP’s printer and emerging technology business

Rob Mesaros is the new managing director of the HP's printer and emerging technology business, an upgrade from his former role as vice-president and general manager of the company's Printing and Personal Systems (PPS) group.
Mesaros made the announcement at Dicker Data’s recent TechX showcase in Melbourne.
The newly-promoted Mesaros has a long history at HP starting in 2006 as its South Pacific category and marketing manager. He held this role for a little over two years, focusing primarily on the company’s imaging and printing consumer technology.
He then moved up the ranks to become HP Asia-Pacific and Japan consumer segment director in 2008, a position he filled for two years, working out of the company's Singapore office.
Following that, Mesaros became HP’s Hong Kong and Macau general manager from 2010 to 2012. He was then took upon his position as vice-president and general manager of the company's PPS group.
