Brocade and Lenovo partner in new OEM relationship
Brocade's Gen 5 Fibre Channel storage area networking (SAN) switches will be sold globally by Lenovo and its network of channel partners.

Lenovo enterprise business group product marketing executive director, Kamran Amin, said Brocade’s fixed-port SAN switches have passed the vendor's requirements for its server and storage solutions.
“Interoperability with Brocade Gen 5 Fibre Channel SAN fabrics ensures trouble-free deployments that help to enhance the unique value delivered by our new storage arrays,” he said.
The SAN switches will also work with Lenovo's new Storage S2200 and S3200 SAN arrays.
According to the network solutions company, its SAN switches include Brocade Fabric Vision technologies that maximise up-time and simplify deployment and management.
Brocade also said the technology enables high levels of visibility and insight into the storage network.
